Richard has been a professional software developer for over 30 years.

His experience dates back to mainframes, COBOL, and even punch cards. He's worked for many of the largest companies in Richmond, on applications varying from industrial to healthcare, and retail to insurance to defense publishing.

Over the years he's dabbled in PC repair, teaching, social club management and computing, desktop publishing, even marketing and print advertising. In recent years his focus turned to web development, initially using PHP, and most recently Google Cloud computing using Python and Django.
